HydroBeam Consultancy (HBC) was established in 2014. The founder was Shahminan Ali. He graduated from University of East London and joined Shell Group with Brunei Shell Petroleum in 1992 and worked as a Hydrographic Surveyor. After almost 23 years with Brunei Shell Petroleum, he left Shell Group and pursue his career as a Consultant specializing in area on Geomatics related activities, HSSE and Training. Within years working with Shell Group, he has spent several years doing HSE Advisor role and has worked in North Sea in a more deeper water. He is an all-rounders Geomatician with combined skill of Offshore Survey, Onshore Survey and HSSE. Capacity extended to Asset Integrity Subject particularly on Inspection part of IRM. Knowledgeable in Geotechnical aspect of field activities. Competence in Data Gathering and Data Analysis of certain aspect of activities, hence able to strategise, establish objectives and define deliverables (SOD). Additional capacities to include astute Communication Skill, Public Speaking and performing Training for Geomatics Related Field Subject. Highly adaptable, Positive thinking, Easy going and believed in Teamwork efforts

The Logo symbolize a “human Face” on which translate into an Interaction mode through Consultation. Each color represents the activities that HydroBeam Consultancy is involved in. The Blue color represents the Offshore Survey, the Brown color indicates Onshore Survey, Green color meant for HSE and finally the Grey color represent Training. All of these activities circle around to form a perfect square. In other term, the interlink between these said activities enable HBC to draw up experience from each field of expertise and provide services toward achieving an efficient and sustainable solution(s). To top with that, HBC believed in “Data Quality Acquired Safely”. The balancing act between Acquisition and Safety is paramount to HBC. There is no merit in acquiring the data in the expense of injuring and damaging the Asset. Likewise, a gold standard safety performance whilst data acquisitions are poor is considered as a “False Economy”
